The UMP 9mm barrels have arrived!!! |
|
On Friday April 11th I received the long
awaited 9mm UMP barrels that we made. These barrels are fluted,
just like the factory original Hk barrels, and are cut to the
factory specs. We made 8" barrels as well as 16" barrels. The
16" barrels have the same outside profile as the USC 45cal
barrel so that they will accept my fake suppressor. The barrels
are made from stainless steel blanks, for longer life. This
barrel will out last a factory Hk barrel 3 to 1. Both lengths
are in stock and shipping now. Your choice $225 each. |

JANUARY 15th 2008 THE BEST OF THE BEST UMP 45 cal 8" BARRELS |
|
Our new 3rd generation of UMP clone
barrels are shipping and are the best around. They are milled on
a state of the art 4th axis lathe. This machine holds the
critical tolerances to +/- .0005. The barrel blanks are
stainless, so they will not rust. The finish we used on these
barrels is the same finish used by Sig on all of their slides
and 556 barrels. This finish gives the barrel a rockwell 70
surface hardness and is more corrosive resistant than phosphate.
These UMP clone barrels meet the factory specs and except all
factory attachments. |

BUYER BEWARE OF WHAT YOU ARE BUYING!!! |
|
If you come across a aftermarket barrel
that is shinny on the back end, the area that slides into the
receiver and makes contact with the upper, this is the sign that
the barrel was OD (outside diameter) ground after the barrel was
finished. Despite what they may say the tolerances were not held
in the machining of these barrels and therefore they were to big
and would not fit into the upper receiver. After the finish was
installed they were OD ground exposing bare metal. Now you have
a very high probability that the barrel can rust into the
receiver! BUYER BEWARE! Buy from Top Notch with confidence. We
stand behind and guaranty all of parts that we make. |
